Time is Closing In

Our time with Kristy, Norah and Graham is very quickly drawing to a close. It's funny how time passes by so quickly when you don't want it to and then takes forever when you need it to. Go figure. It's starting to sink in that in a week's time, I won't be able to just drive over and hang out with them for the day. Thankfully we are in an age of technology and I have never been more thankful for things like telephones and skype. But, that just won't do some days. There will be days when I long to just sit down in Kristy's living room to chat and play. 

On the upside, we still have a week before they go, so we have been making sure that our time together in the same province is made the most of. 

Last week Thursday, Aimee and I spent the afternoon at Kristy's and helped her pack. We couldn't believe that we aided in this whole process of leaving, but we are truly excited for Graham and Kristy as they embark on a new and exciting adventure.

 Most of the afternoon was spent hanging out and just enjoying each other's company. Plus, things are always entertaining when you are in the presence of Norah and Hayley.

That evening Kristy and I watched "Dear John" (what an unsatisfactory ending by the way), consumed our fair share of popcorn and ketchup chips and best of all, spent a ton of time just chatting. It was a perfect sort of day.

Tomorrow is a Norah day for me while Kristy packs.
Thursday is poutine lunch with Kristy and Sabrina

Saturday is the best day of all days. It is girls day! We are heading out to Rosenort where Kristy's sister-in-law Amber has graciously agreed to do a photo shoot with us girls as a last hurrah, followed by a hot dog lunch fundraiser Kristen's mom is having, then heading to the city for some fine dining and then ending up at Aimee's for an evening of lots of laughter, probably a lot of tears and just good conversation. It's going to be a bittersweet sort of day but I'm excited that we get a day for just us girls. 

I'm gonna soak up all the time I can with them before next Tuesday.
