Well, I have entered the blogging world. I probably don't have a ton of time for this, but I figured that with the busyness of my life, that this would be a great way for me to connect with friends and family.
Well Christmas is soon upon us and I figured it was time to pull out the Christmas decorations and the Christmas tree and crank up the Christmas tunes. How exciting! This is my favorite time of the year, even the shopping. I love the anticipation of Christmas, the waiting, the excitement, finding the perfect gift for someone and the hot apple cider. I love the Christmas carols and the joy in people's faces.
So as I was decorating my lovely tree, I had the help of Cole (the 3 year old boy I live with) and I realized that I was turning into a crazy Christmas person. My mom was one of those people and now I have become one too. Before we even got started with putting the ornaments onto the tree, I divided them between the ones that Cole could put on and the ones that I would do. My mom did that for me and my brothers when we were young. Then as we started to decorate Cole had a tendancy of putting a whole bunch of ornaments close together and I wanted them to be evenly distributed across the tree, so has he placed some on, I would take them off and move them to a more suitable spot. How mean am I? It was at this point where I realized that I had become my mother at Christmas. Here is the finished product:
